- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your password and account activity.
- The Platform is intended for users who are at least 18 years old.
2. Marketplace & Vendor Services
Nigerian-Made.com provides a platform for vendors to showcase and sell products made in Nigeria. As such, the Platform does not manufacture, own, or directly sell listed products
- Vendors: By listing a product, you warrant that the item is manufactured or significantly processed in Nigeria, complies with all local regulations, and are not prohibited, counterfeit, or illegal goods.
- Buyers: You agree to pay the listed price for items and any associated delivery fees.
3. Escrow and Payments
To ensure trust and security, the Platform utilizes an escrow system for payment for transactions (where enabled).
- Transaction Flow: Funds are held in escrow by our payment partner (Payscrow) until the buyer confirms receipt of the goods in the agreed condition.
- Disbursement: Upon confirmation of receipt of order, funds are released to the vendor, minus applicable platform/transaction fees.
- Disputes: If a dispute arises, the Platform reserves the right to hold funds until a resolution is reached via our dispute mechanism.
4. Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
- Post counterfeit or illegal goods.
- Circumvent the Platform's payment or escrow system to conduct "off-platform" transactions.
- Engage in fraudulent activities or misrepresent the origin, nature or specification of products.
- Use any automated system (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform without permission.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including logos, text, and software, is the property of Nigerian-Made.com or its licensors.
- Vendors retain ownership of the product photos and descriptions they upload but grant the Platform a non-exclusive license to use them for marketing and display purposes.
6. Limitation of Liability
Nigerian-Made.com provides the platform "as is". While we facilitate transactions through escrow, we are not responsible for:
- The quality or safety of products sold by third-party vendors.
- Service interruptions due to technical maintenance or external network issues.
- Any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
- Any product defects, delivery delays, or vendor conduct
- Liability is limited to platform-related services only
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms the integrity of the Platform.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nigeria.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Effective Date".
